🛠️ Adjustment of Machining Diameter (Easy Method)

  1. Loosen the locking screw (anti-clockwise).

  2. Rotate the graduated dial to reach the required diameter.

  3. Fine adjustment is done based on the “0” line of the vernier.

  4. Tighten the locking screw as per recommended torque.

⚠️ Do not over-tighten locking screw to avoid accuracy loss.

🔩 Installation of Insert Holder

  • Clean the mounting surface of the holder and boring head body.

  • Mount the insert holder correctly onto the body.

  • For back boring, the holder can be rotated 180°.

  • Ensure no gap or misalignment before tightening the locking screw.

⚠️ Important Usage & Safety Instructions

  • Do not exceed the maximum boring range of the head.

  • Always start machining from general cutting conditions and increase speed gradually.

  • Maximum allowable speed is a safety limit, not a performance limit.

  • Ensure spindle, workpiece, and tool rigidity to avoid vibration.

  • Use only genuine clamping screws.

  • Replace clamping screws periodically (consumable item).

  • Clean insert seating surfaces using compressed air before installation.

  • Always wear safety goggles during boring operations.
